One Million Experiments from Naarm to Turtle Island

Join us for a screening of the documentary One Million Experiments followed by a facilitated conversation about Naarm-based experiments in creating safety in a world without police and prisons. To the questions put forward by the creators of One Million Experiments, we add: How do we learn with and from other experiments to work towards liberation for all on these stolen lands? We invite all those currently engaged in community-based experiments working to create a world without police and prisons, as well as folks interested in getting involved in this work, to join us for an evening of collective learning and conversation about how to build solutions that are grounded in transformation instead of punishment. Any profits generated from ticket sales will be split evenly between Flat Out, the Centre Against Racial profiling, the Institute of Postcolonial Studies, and the New International Bookshop.
